រដ្ឋាភិបាលបានកោះហៅតំណាងវិទ្យុអាមេរិកនិយាយភាសាខ្មែរទាំងពីរ គឺវិទ្យុសំឡេងសហរដ្ឋអាមេរិក និងវិទ្យុអាស៊ីសេរីមកជួបក្នុងកិច្ចប្រជុំមួយដែលរដ្ឋាភិបាលពន្យល់ថា គឺដើម្បីនិយាយអំពីការអនុវត្តវិជ្ជាជីវៈ និងបង្កើនសហប្រតិបត្តិការជាមួយគ្នា។ ផ្ទុយទៅវិញ តំណាងវិទ្យុទាំងពីរបានចាត់ទុកថា នេះគឺជាការគំរាមកំហែងដល់សេរីភាពសារព័ត៌មាន ហើយពួកគេនឹងបន្តបេសកម្មតាមវិជ្ជាជីវៈរបស់ខ្លួនដើម្បីបម្រើប្រយោជន៍ពលរដ្ឋកម្ពុជាដដែល។
ព្រឹត្តិការណ៍មិនធ្លាប់កើតមាន។ រដ្ឋាភិបាលបានកោះហៅជាផ្លូវការតំណាងវិទ្យុសំឡេងសហរដ្ឋអាមេរិក និងតំណាងវិទ្យុអាស៊ីសេរីដែលផ្សាយជាភាសាខ្មែរមកជួបក្នុងកិច្ចប្រជុំមួយកាលពីព្រឹកថ្ងៃពុធម្សិលមិញ ដើម្បីសួរដេញដោលអំពីបេសកកម្ម និងការអនុវត្តវិជ្ជាជីវៈសារព័ត៌មានរបស់វិទ្យុទាំងពីរ។ កិច្ចប្រជុំប្រភេទនេះដែលតំណាងវិទ្យុទាំងពីរអត្ថាធិប្បាយថា ជាការគំរាមកំហែងពីសំណាក់រដ្ឋាភិបាលទៅលើសេរីភាពសារព័ត៌មាន ហើយថាពួកគេនឹងនៅតែបន្តការងារផ្តល់ព័ត៌មានតាមវិជ្ជាជីវៈដដែល។
អ្នកតំណាងអោយវិទ្យុមួយដែលបានចូលរួមក្នុងកិច្ចប្រជុំជាមួយមន្ត្រីរដ្ឋាភិបាលជាច្រើនរូបបានប្រាប់វិទ្យុបារាំងអន្តរជាតិអោយដឹងថា មន្ត្រីរដ្ឋាភិបាលបានសួរអំពីបេសកម្មរបស់វិទ្យុទាំងពីរ បានលើកឡើងអំពីការប្រើប្រាស់ពាក្យពេចន៍ចំពោះថ្នាក់ដឹកនាំ និងថាបានព្រមានប្តឹងថែមទៀតផង។
ទីភ្នាក់ងារព័ត៌មានបារាំងAFP បានស្រង់ប្រសាសន៍របស់លោកផៃ ស៊ីផាន អ្នកនាំពាក្យទីស្តីការគណៈរដ្ឋមន្ត្រីដែលពន្យល់ថា គោលបំណងនៃការជួបជាមួយតំណាងវិទ្យុទាំងពីរនេះ គឺដើម្បីពង្រឹងគុណភាពវិជ្ជាជីវៈក្នុងសេចក្តីរាយការណ៍របស់វិទ្យុទាំងពីរ និងលើកឡើងអំពីការគោរពទាក់ទងនឹងវប្បធម៌ខ្មែរនៅក្នុងអត្ថបទរបស់ពួកគេ។ លោកផៃ ស៊ីផានបញ្ជាក់ថា សេរីភាពសារព័ត៌មានត្រូវមានការទទួលខុសត្រូវ។

You are the most powerful snake who swallows the media in Cambodia. You are not the sportsman! Now 95% of Cambodians can hear only one side which is you. Now you are banning some news agencies and using the Court as a killing tool.

NO VOA & RFA
I used to be journalist in Cambodia for many foreigner agencies. I can say that there are problems about practicing journalism in VOA & RFA teams. They have not responsability toward public. They just try to spread scoop without thingking about the deontology. They just want to broadcast sensitive news and do not want to make any balance.
NO VOA, NO RFA and No RFI, No real News in Cambodia
There are almost hundreds of media stations in Cambodia, most of them are government pro-media station, news agencies, ant 100% pro-government tv channels that normally braodcast only development, development, advertise about new high ranking official promotions...etc. I am lucky to have VOA, RFA, and RFI to listen the real news and situations , the sadness of our cambodian people, land grabing, household moving, corrupted activities of some government officials and some irregular activities. I, my family members and especially, my father are happy to have VOA, RFA, and FRI to listen the real news in cambodia. I am no relation to any political party in my country. I stand in the midle of all Cambodia people's heart, idea, willing and prosperity of this nation, Cambodia.

So you're suggesting to broadcast only development work from the government. All TV and Newspaper in Cambodia did this already. What RFA and VOA did was good since they show the balance of information. We acknowledge government is doing a job but not a very good job. It's just the way HUN Sen try to control cambodia. Keep working RFA and VOA. All medias in cambodia do not broadcast the balance information!!!

How could you say such a thing? I'm just an ordinary people but i at least know what is going on rather than you. Who say Cambodian people don't need to be informed by news broadcasted by the two agencies. Who say that? Could you tell me? If they are not informed by the two agencies, what else can they could be offered chance to know what is going on? televisions, radios, newspapers or what???? i would say almost all are under government control. right??? Agree? OR DISAGREE?? i just hope i could hear news from very sides. I know some reporters tend to give more voice to opposition party but more or less you could hear news you have NEVER EVER SEEN on television or khmer newspaper... and that is a true value.

I think there is a clisification of listeners ranging from remote rural areas to intelectuals in town. They have different interests once listening/reading/watching broadacasting and publication, and thus what is the target of VOA and RFA? I am hard to accept either pro-govt media and pro-opposition one (including VOA/RFA). They are doing the same things and their news are nothing interested and sound very destroying one another and the society. I see very few qualified news broadcasting by VOA/RFA, mostly pro-one side. When their news are balanced and constructive, I see govt officials are responding to their question. But most of the VOA/RFA news could not reach comments of govt official. That's because of non-constructive news in nature attached with a political agenda. If all keep doing the same way they are broardcasting today, I can't see the media contributes to the development of democratic society in Cambodia...I hope both camps either pro-govt and opposition should learn the way RFI are doing...thus, we are doing constructively for the best interest of our people and country. I so much love listening all types of RFI because the quality of the news and very very profesinal media.

I think, VOA and RFA have a political agenda rather than performing as professional media. They are acting as same as those of many local media bias with the government. I only see RFI is the best radio performing as the most professional one in Cambodia. To contribute to development of democratic society in Cambodia, I wish either those media supporting the ruling CPP and those media supporting opposition camp will learn a way RFI has provided a more balanced news/facts to the public. Your role as reporters is to provide the facts, not the judgment, and let readers and listeners to judge themselves. The public do not need you to tell them that it is wrong or it is right… If you conclude news with your own views, you are crossing the boundary of professional media. If you want the public to respect you as professional media, you need to differentiate between news and your editorial. You can't mix them and if doing so, it implies that you are confusing your audience. And at the end, you just a cheap media.

Sorry, I've heard these two radios (VOA & RFA) do judgement over the news they broadcasted. In contrast, they try to quote all info from the involoved parties. Especially, they try to reach with government officials who involved in the stroy, these government officials always said that they are very busy in the meeting. Meeting everytime...
Have you ever found the pro-government radios/TVs broadcasted any news that interesting the listeners? I heard and saw only the news about the personal activities of the leaders and their family (provide gift, go to pagoda, etc.).
So, these radios (VOA & RFA) already have a balance, except you. You yourself should be balanced before giving this statement.

I see very very few news
I see very very few news broadcasting by RFA/VOA give balanced sources...Most of their broadcasting are non-constructive. So, people do not have much choices to listen because both pro-govt media and pro-oppostion media (+VOA/RFA) and people boaring when listening them...Luckily, RFI gives me a chance to hear the facts in Cambodia...I wish RFI could expand its broadcast to help restoring and improving media climate in Cambodia.

I greed that pro-govt radios/TVs news nothing interesting the listeners. It always about personal news...But, VOA/RFA doing the same because they have a political agenda, and that's why govt officials do not want to give any comment, because the quality of their news is a kind of detroying the country's very pour society...Let me ask you why govt officials in many ways are so cooperative with RFI and I heard little no comments when questions were asked by RFI reporters...RFA/VOA can you ask yourselfe, why?
